Can I use the HYGEAR app for free?
Yes, you can enjoy many app features for free, including real-time activity metrics from the sensors, workout recommendations and demonstrations, daily challenges, and more.
What do I get with the premium membership?
As a premium member, you gain full access to the app's extensive content, including workout demonstrations, training programs, contests with prizes, insightful progress tracking and your workout history. You'll also enjoy personalized recommendations and all new features at no extra cost.
Do I have to download the HYGEAR app in order to use the gear I purchased?
While downloading the HYGEAR app isn't required to use the gear, you need the app to receive workout data from the sensor.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you can cancel your membership anytime and no further charges will apply after your current subscription term ends. For convenience, we suggest canceling before the term concludes to prevent any additional charges.
Does the app only work on the phone, or can it be downloaded to a computer or TV?
The app works only on mobile devices and it's available for both Android and iPhone. However, it can also be mirrored on Android and Apple Smart TVs.
Does the app show workouts without the gears as well?
The HYGEAR app is all about fitness and you can find all kinds of workouts, including short workouts with and without HYGEAR products.
How many workouts are in the app library? How many workout routines or combinations are available?
The HYGEAR app features high-energy workouts designed for fat burning, full-body toning, and various training styles including circuit training, HIIT cardio, supersets, and Tabata, with intervals of 20 seconds of activity followed by 10 seconds of rest. It provides numerous programs with diverse routines. The app offers lots of exercise options, enabling users to create a wide range of workouts. For those who prefer self-guided exercise, the app's freestyle mode allows you to work out independently while still receiving feedback.
How much does the HYGEAR app cost to use?

Product questions
What is the difference between resistance and suspension workout?
The key difference is that resistance training uses external band resistance to create muscle tension without applying your full body weight to the bands. It enables concentric and eccentric movements, allowing you to target specific muscle groups. On the other hand, suspension straps involve applying your full body weight, using your own body as resistance, which engages more muscles for stability and focuses on strength and core development.
Should I buy both suspension straps and resistance bands?
For optimal results, we suggest incorporating both into your routine as they target muscles and mobility differently. Follow the HYGEAR app's instructions for the best outcomes.
Can I use my HYGEAR equipment without the HYGEAR app premium membership?
You can use your HYGEAR equipment with or without a Premium Membership. However, premium members gain full access to all app content and features, while free members have limited access. Please note, even as a free member you will always have access to real-time data from the sensor of your gear.
I am not so good with tech, is it difficult to set the gear up?
Setting up you gear is very easy. Just download the HYGEAR app, turn on the gear, and they will connect.
Which HYGEAR product/bundle is right for me?

What's the maximum resistance weight I can apply on GEAR GO?
GEAR GO offers a maximum resistance of 16 lbs when stretched to 2.5 times its original length, which is the recommended maximum. When using both bands with one hand, GEAR GO provides up to 32 lbs of resistance. This also applies for GEAR GO PRO.
What's the maximum resistance weight I can apply on GEAR 1?
GEAR 1 offers a maximum resistance of 22 lbs when stretched to 2.5 times its original length, the recommended maximum. Pulling both bands with one hand increases the resistance to 44 lbs.
What's the maximum resistance weight I can apply on HYBAR?
HYBAR offers a maximum resistance of 16 lbs, but adjusting its position can enable higher resistance levels.
I am new to rope jumping. How can I avoid getting hurt?
If you're new to rope jumping, start with HYROPE's ropeless setting. It simulates the feel of a rope with two small balls attached to the handles, minimizing the risk of tripping. As you gain experience, you can transition to using the rope.
How do I connect my gear to the wall?
Your gear includes a door anchor. You can also purchase a wall mount for anchoring it to the wall. For resistance bands, we recommend three wall mounts placed high, middle, and low to maximize your training options.
What is the ideal placement for the wall mount to maximize efficiency of my workouts?
There are three optional placements:
1. The high anchor should be
placed about 10" above
your height
2. The middle anchor should
be placed at shoulder
height
3. The low anchor should be
as close to the floor as
possible
For resistance bands, we recommend three wall mounts placed high, middle, and low to maximize your training options.
Can a single HYGEAR equipment connect to multiple devices?
Yes, but not at the same time.
